Every trip we design is personalised. Use this itinerary as a starting point — we’ll shape it around your travel dates, interests, and the way you like to explore.

Arrive in Auckland and settle into your central hotel. Enjoy a relaxed harbour walk or explore the Viaduct precinct before easing into the evening at your own pace.

Travel north to the Bay of Islands for sheltered bays, island cruising and coastal Māori history. Visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds or enjoy a relaxed afternoon by the water.

Continue to Rotorua, the geothermal and cultural heart of Aotearoa. Settle into your stay and unwind in natural hot pools surrounded by steam and forest.

Experience Māori storytelling, haka and shared kai, then explore Rotorua’s geothermal valleys of bubbling mud, steaming vents and colourful silica terraces.

Fly to Wellington and settle into the creative capital. Enjoy a waterfront walk, visit Te Papa museum or explore the city’s small‑but‑brilliant food scene.

Discover Wellington’s cultural and coastal charm with time for galleries, cafés, the cable car or a visit to Wētā Workshop for a behind‑the‑scenes film experience.

Fly south to Queenstown and settle into your lakeside stay. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon exploring the waterfront, boutiques and alpine views.

Choose your pace: a lake cruise, vineyard afternoon or scenic gondola ride. For the adventurous, options include jet boating or an alpine hike.

Travel to Glenorchy for dramatic valleys, braided rivers and film‑worthy scenery. This is a scenic, story‑rich day exploring the landscapes behind Middle‑earth.

Journey into Fiordland for towering cliffs, waterfalls and deep silence. Choose Milford Sound or the more remote Doubtful Sound for your fjord experience.

Cruise beneath sheer rock faces with chances to spot dolphins, seals and birdlife. Return to Queenstown or continue directly to Wanaka for a quieter evening.

Enjoy Wanaka’s slower rhythm with lakeside walks, artisan food and boutique village charm. Optional photography tours or gentle alpine trails are available.

Travel through the Southern Alps to Aoraki / Mount Cook. Explore glacier lakes or alpine tracks before continuing to Tekapo for world‑class stargazing.
